Pensacola State College’s Charter Academy Class of 2025 recently presented its Senior Symposium projects. The standing-room-only event featured research and a presentation on career options from the 41 seniors who graduated on May 12. Parents, mentors, Charter Academy administrators, PSC President Ed Meadows, and the PSC Board of Trustees questioned the seniors about the projects and plans after graduation.
Charter Academy students begin this project at the beginning of their senior year, where they pick a career they are interested in learning more about and find a mentor in that career field. They then shadow that mentor for 20 hours and culminate all of their findings into a research paper, a portfolio, and a presentation that they present at the Senior Symposium.
