Charter Academy offers high school students the opportunity to earn a high school diploma, college credits, and an Associates degree at the same time.

The target enrollment is only 225 10th, 11th, and 12th graders.

Students receive personal attention from Charter Academy staff members who are trained to advise students on both the requirements for high school completion as well as the requirements for college-level completion for an associate degree.

Charter Academy students experience a rigorous curriculum that will prepare them for their next step in life, whether it be further education or employment.
Career exploration and mentorship
Charter Academy students explore career options and work with mentors in their field of interest and complete a multi-faceted capstone project, a culmination of knowledge and skills which includes fieldwork, an oral presentation, and a portfolio.
Charter Academy students have access to state-of-the-art technology in PSC’s Technology Innovation Center at the Charter Academy. Virtual reality, 3-D printing, and other enhanced technology are available for students to explore their passions. All students are provided with laptops to enhance their learning.
Charter Academy students receive exceptional instruction and individualized guidance from highly qualified faculty. Students form relationships with these distinguished instructors, preparing them to be lifelong learners and to achieve their goals.
High school extracurriculars at the home school
Charter Academy students can participate in extracurriculars, such as clubs and team sports at their home school. Charter Academy students can continue to participate in their home school community.
PSC clubs and activities
Charter Academy students have access to Pensacola State College’s wide range of clubs and activities. Students are involved in the wider campus community and use resources to enhance their wellbeing and educational goals.
Robinson Honors Program
Charter Academy students can pursue their passion and find their place in the Robinson Honors Program. Students take advantage of opportunities beyond the classroom, like an enriched curriculum, service learning, and travel opportunities.
Charter Academy students have full access to the PSC Math Labs, PSC Writing Labs, and the award-winning PSC Virtual Tutoring.
Students work with Charter Academy staff to design an individualized course schedule that meets each student’s needs.
