Pensacola State College Charter Academy students enjoyed an exciting day at the NAS Air Show, where they explored the fascinating world of STEM and aviation. Invited to attend the prestigious event, students had the opportunity to engage with a variety of interactive displays and learn from STEM and aviation experts. Highlights included immersive experiences at booths hosted by NASA, the Aviation Inspiration Mentorship Program, Chappie James Flight Academy, Auburn University Rocketry and Design Build, Purdue University, and the Pensacola Mess Hall, among others.
Students stepped into the role of crime scene investigators, piloted planes in flight simulators, and got hands-on with aerospace innovations. The day culminated in a breathtaking air show, where students watched the world-famous Thunderbirds, Fat Albert, and the Blue Angels showcase incredible aerial maneuvers.
This thrilling experience combined education and inspiration, fueling students’ interests in STEM fields and leaving them with unforgettable memories of Pensacola’s renowned air show.
